Sonic Legacy Seeking Pencilers/Inkers/Colorists!

Hey there, Newgrounds!

My team and I are working on a long-term Sonic the Hedgehog comic series called Sonic Legacy! It's a reboot of the franchise, based mostly on the games but incorporates elements from every facet of the franchise, and has some original lore and story to it to tie everything together into one bundle!

We're currently seeking artists capable of drawing out comic pages as a pencils layer, people who can smooth out the artwork and do line work for inking, and colorists who can breathe life into the pages. With the amount of writing we have completed on our end, we've hit a slowdown in production because we don't have enough artists on the team to divide the work between, while allowing other artists to take breaks and work on their own personal hobbies.

As of this posting, we have 12 main issues released on our official website, with four of them dubbed here and on YouTube, and 3 side issues with another on the way. We're currently on a hiatus to rebuild a backlog of content, but if we can expand our team further to allow more flexibility among the artists, we could one day hit a better release schedule!

I should stress, as of right now any work done on Sonic Legacy is strictly volunteer, as we do not have a budget to support paying art bounties at this current time. It is a goal of ours to be able to do so one day. No one is expected to stick around for any long window of time after any sort of material is created, but we do try to build a more permanent team.

We're generally very lenient with production speed, especially if the material is farther from release compared to an issue next on the release order, as long as we're kept up to date on any sort of progress. We communicate and share progress updates via our project Discord, both open to the public, as well as for the staff.

If you are interested in joining the team, we do ask that you supply us with an audition piece, 2+ pages of either penciled/inked/colored pages, as long as they contain at least two panels to show understanding of panel layout, character dynamics, background usage, or lighting in the case of a coloring audition.
