Still needs some work on the translations, cleaning up the dialog, and finishing up with the intro, but I'd like to think that this little mini-project of mine looks promising.

Why am I translating a Japanese PS2 game, when I can play the 8-bit version on the Sega Master System? More character interaction, more scenes, the story is dived into deeper, and the graphics and music are enhanced. Plus, this PS2 version will never come out in either Europe or US, so I'm doing the fans a favor.

On more serious tones, being single sucks.
On less personal notes, I've been slacking off too much on animating. I need to get off my ass and finish up my entry to Sonic Shorts Volume 6. If its not done in time, then I'll just submit it as its own submission.

Well, my friend Scott and his fiance are finally getting married in November, the bastard. Looks like I get to steal some of the spotlight, though, being best man AND the composer for their music. The wedding'll give me an excuse to get out of this house and the Internet, and I'll dump the music I did for their wedding here on Newgrounds. Mind you, almost all of it comes from Final Fantasy and Legend Of Zelda, and I thought I was a game nerd.

*Working on an ending, since the original is messed up in the game. I'm even tempted to have the fight with Ultros in here.*

SEGA, if this game is good, I'll start liking you again.

For those that do know what the project is, it's slowly making progress. For those that don't, well...you'll know when it comes out. I'm not sharing the story with anyone.

Yes, I'm referencing some buildings in the second pic, just because I'm shit at them at the moment. I'm 'aiming' for something SonicX quality.

So, I've found an engine with RPG Maker XP that has an 'almost' completed Golden Sun engine. The only things missing is the layout for the menu, and the little voice effect when characters speak. Other than that, the animations are rough around the edges, but it shouldn't be anything that I'd have trouble with.
Now I'm tempted to either remake Golden Sun with bonuses, or just make yet another Golden Sun game. I don't know which yet, but just for nostalgia purposes, I've remade yet more tracks. You should listen to them.

Golden Sun: TLA Overworld

So, after flagging some abusive reviews for the past week, my whistle finally leveled up to Gold!! GOLD, BITCHES!! My dependency for high-ranking users to help me clean up reviews on Newgrounds is little-to-none, now. I'd still prefer the Deity whistle, but hey, I'll get there eventually.

Now that I'm at a Gold whistle, I can gladly help anyone wanting to level up their whistle. just simply go to my earlier journal entry, and link/flag whatever you can find, thus helping everyone out.

Pity it's harder to level up the BLAM/SAVE positions, I'm tired of spam/useless Flashes making it into the Portal, and it seems that with my current rank, it'd take some effort to clean this place up.

Oh, well. I'll have more news later on, I guess.

Life Updates

Well, for starters, I'm single once more. This was a long relationship, roughly 3 years, but it seems as if it weren't working out, so here I am. Now to flirt with every woman here, then realize mosts of them are probably loli's and run screaming.

Also got around to drawing myself a new icon. Much better than the last one.

I've got a Sonic series that I'm animating for Newgrounds, WITHOUT SPRITES =D. However, I'm wanting this to look nice, so it'll be a while before it hits the light of day.
